Legends Suffer Another Heartbreaking Setback

The Long Beach Legends (21-12, 7-3) lost to the Glendale Angelenos 8-7 Saturday night at Glendale Community College.

The Legends had plenty of opportunities, but failed to cash in, leaving 12 men on base throughout the game.

Legends Split Twin-Bill with Power

The Long Beach Legends (21-11, 7-3) split a doubleheader with the Palm Springs Power (20-2, 9-2) winning the first 4-3, while falling 4-0 in the second game Thursday afternoon at Long Beach City College.

In game one, the Legends jumped out early to a 4-0 lead against the Power and held on to a 4-3 victory.

Pirates Plunder the Dodgers

Kyle Jackson led the way with three hits and two runs for the Inland Valley Pirates (3-3, 2-3) en route to a 3-1 victory against the East L.A. Dodgers Saturday afternoon at Cal Poly Pomona.

The Dodgers sprung out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the second, but the Pirates answered.
