Bishop Amat defeated Crespi 24-21 on homecoming night. Crespi struggled mightily in this game with many penalties, turnovers and miscues. For whatever reason the Celts just don’t seem to be able to get over the hump in a close game.

Valencia (12-4,4-0) defeated Hart (11-4,3-1) 3-sets-to-1 in front of a rowdy capacity crowd Tuesday night.
The Vikings fell 16-25 in the first set before winning the final three sets 25-11, 25-20 and 25-22.
Pepperdine commit Delaney Knudsen was sensational with 15 kills, 21 digs and seven assists. Lindsey Knudsen, Delaney’s younger sister, added 29 assists, seven kills and eight digs. Sierra Sanchez had 16 kills and 16 digs.
Amy King and Chase Tengberg recorded 10 kills each for Hart. Katie Baker served up four aces and contributed 14 digs.

UC Davis commit Kendall Frisoli finished with nine kills for Thousand Oaks, Jane Lamp added 13 digs and Amanda Lichtl had 32 assists.
Julia Mannisto had a game-high 12 kills and nine digs for Westlake, while Teini Elisara had 27 assists and Paige Rasmussen was diving all over the place with 20 digs.
