Agoura vs Calabasas

Don’t look now, but the Coyotes have a realistic chance to with their third Marmonte League game and go over .500 for the season this week at home. Who would have thought that the team the league tried to kick out would do so much damage after going winless in league play for so many years? The (3-3) Coyotes are led by the impressive Sophomore back Tyson Jones. Agoura (1-5) comes in on a five-game losing streak. Gerard Poutier and company would like for nothing more than to halt that streak against Calabasas on Friday night. We’ve seen the team play up to its potential on defense against Thousand Oaks, but they will have to click on all cylinders if they want to win another game this season in the ultra-competitive Marmonte League. I will go with Agoura just because it feels weird to ever pick the Coyotes as a winner, but I will certainly be a believer in Larry Edwards and this team next year should they win.
