Agoura vs Moorpark

AGOURA at MOORPARK – Moorpark (1-1, 1-0) survived a scare against Newbury Park. They needed a two-point conversion from Grant Rohach to Quinn Bauducco with just 1:07 remaining in the game to complete their 15 point fourth quarter rally. For the second straight week, the Musketeers dug themselves a hole, trailing 30-16 with less than three minutes to go, but this time, they won. If you’re a Moorpark fan, you would certainly like to see the team get out to a fast start this week against Agoura (1-1, 0-1). Moorpark is led by Minnesota commit Bauducco, Rohach who completed 25-of-32 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns last week and RB Tyler Petersen, who is averaging 98 yards a game. The Chargers will try to unleash their full aerial assault on Moorpark after just falling short against Simi Valley last week. In an ongoing theme in the first week of the super Marmonte League, games coming down to the wire, the Chargers lost with just 1:36 remaining. The Chargers are led by QB Gerard Poutier, who is averaging 315 yards a game, and knows how to spread the ball around. In just two games four Charger receivers have more than 115 yards receiving. However, Poutier needs to cut down on his four interceptions. Agoura can’t afford to be giving up turnovers against the great competition they’ll see all year.
