As the temperature soared, so did the play of the four quarterbacks, as the battle to replace record-setting Celts quarterback Kenny Stenhouse (3,131 yards and 32 touchdowns) continued.
The Celts won all six of their games against Calabasas, Carson, Hueneme, Inglewood, Santa Clara and Santa Paula.
The Celts’ undefeated day was especially impressive because star receivers Chris Harper and Mike Davison missed the tournament. They travelled to Dallas, Texas for a national 7-on-7 passing tournament as a part of Keyshawn Johnson’s 1925 all-star team.
See interviews with seniors Jack Vonarb, Terrence Williams and Noah Ciccel as the Celts host six teams in a 7-on-7 passing tournament.
